  12. The dorms I live offer a 10baseT ethernet connection in certain rooms. I'm
  13. considering living there again next semester, and I am being offered my
  14. choice of room. I'm wondering, is it worthwhile for me, an Amiga user, to
  15. get a room with Ethernet, i.e.:

  18.     Is it possible to hook an Amiga to a standard 10baseT ethernet
  19. connection? I just talked to the fellow in charge of the network and he
  20. said, no, it's just for macs and PC's... but I've heard stories of Amiga
  21. ethernet cards and of amigas being connected to PC networks..

  23.     Is it feasible for me to do? I sure would like to have a 10mb/s
  24. connection (or however fast it is, better than 14.4 I'm sure) running into
  25. my Amiga. Has anyone else done this? IF so, what are the costs involved?

  28.     I could justify dropping like $300 for an ethernet card for my amiga
  29. better than I could justify dropping $500 for like an old 486..
